Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is something I’ve always admired. They were launched back in 2000 after the collaboration between Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have become a major designer brand with boutiques in multiple countries, and it’s one that fashion fans can’t resist.
I’ve kept an eye on Golden Goose for some time and I would often check out the collection on FarFetch, as they always had an fantastic selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always felt the price was too high and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always saved for later. A couple of years ago, Adam was the one who was the early fan and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what made me pay more attention. After checking out his pair and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re artisanal, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are intentionally aged and made to appear vintage, they are all hand done so there’s no two pairs alike. Some have stronger distressing than others, so each pair is unpredictable.

They’re the highest quality sneakers I have.
I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality.
